Use: This set is ideal for drawing of low, medium and high carbon steel wires, as well as for nonferrous and alloyed wires with steel and aluminum, and is widely used in drawings of steel wires, wire cables and other building components, galvanized iron wires, nail making and other related fields.
Structure: This set mainly consists of main reduction gearbox, mould box and a guide frame. The drawing drums of vertical type are driven by cylindrical double-reduction gears with different velocity ratios that are powered by a LZT or Y motor through gear coupling. The drums are mounted on a box body on the opposite side, and the pair of gears is lubricated through oil immersion.
A spray cooling device is arranged on inner wall of the drums for reducing residual heat on the drum for steel conducting wires after drawing. The drawing mould is immerged in cooling water for reduction of working temperature.
This set available for jog and coordinated control is provided with an emergency shut-down mechanism in front of the machine tool where the drums are operated.
